Sam + Stephanie (engagement session)

I was SO excited to take Sam & Stephanie's engagement photos. I've gotten to know Sam & Stephanie over the past couple years, so I was thrilled to not only be their photographer, but to also be able to celebrate with them the night of their engagement. (I'm also totally honored to be a bridesmaid in their wedding next spring)

When Stephanie shared with me her ideas for their photos, I knew it was going to be a great time. We drove up to Ruidoso to join them for Labor Day weekend and started exploring. They knew of a lake + a beautiful creek and as soon as I saw both I fell in love! This was definitely the most adventurous shoot I think I've ever done! We walked up and down trails to get to the lake, through dirt and long grass, and got knee deep in a creek. It was completely worth it to capture these photos of the lovebirds!
